About

Tangletown Press offers complete facsimile reprints of historical atlases: Sanborn fire insurance maps of American towns and cities, and 19th-century county, state and city atlases, along with cattle brand books, saddlery catalogs and other Western Americana.

Each title is a page-for-page reproduction of an original edition, not a selection or a redrawn map. You get the whole atlas, as it was published.

Based in Saint Paul

Tangletown Press is an independent press in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

New titles are added all the time. If the place you need isn't in print yet, request a title. Requests help decide what gets reprinted next.
